HEBREW · PRACTICE

Hebrew word practice

Read a familiar word, recall its meaning, then decide whether to return to it.

Optional practice · Six words per round · After the basic Hebrew sequence

Begin here after the cumulative workshop. Use the Hebrew quick reference after your first attempt.

Text aids use the lessons’ modern Israeli reading model. Capitals mark the stronger syllable; ch is like the sound in Bach, and ts stays together. Compare with the reading aid, then choose whether to see the word again.

Your choices stay on this page; they are not saved as a learning record.

Six words to revisit

Read each word and recall a meaning before opening its answer. Compare, close the answer and return to any word you want to read again.
